"A Home Away From Home For Olene Hubbard"

Struggling to care for my wife at home for 2 years after learning she had a brain tumor, a friend of ours suggested that I put her in a nursing home.  What a shock!  That was something I said I would never do.  However, one day a Carillon social worker came to visit us and indicated that my wife needed more attention and she stated that her father-in-law was in a very nice private adult care home and that they were very satisfied there.  I immediately contacted the home and scheduled a visit to inquire about their services and possibly transferring my wife to their adult care home. There, I met some of the staff and the nursing home's owner, Valorie Adams.  After touring the home and a discussion about admission matters, I decided to bring my wife to this lovely home. Starting from the first hour of the first day, I realized that Olene was in excellent care and that I had made the right decision for her.

The staff and Valorie Adams made me feel so comfortable and my wife, Olene, was so satisfied.  Olene really enjoyed the extra care and attention that she received all the way up to the day she passed away on January 10, 2002 .

Thanks to all the staff and the management for all the love and care they showered upon me and my wife.

I would recommend anyone looking into nursing homes to check out Cozy Home for a vacancy.  Ask for Valorie Adams, owner.

"I can’t say enough positive things about this wonderful assisted living facility"

I would like to take a moment of your time and share with you some of my experiences with Cozy Home Haven. Approximately three years ago my grandmother was in need of assisted living help with the goal of receiving excellent health care in a safe, comfortable, and family oriented environment. Cozy Home Haven easily met these goals and provided much, much, more.

Valorie Adams, the Director of Cozy Home Haven, provides excellent leadership and guidance to her team as they care for your loved one. Valorie is a hands-on Director who has many years of health care experience. She strategically spends countless hours at Cozy Home Haven in an effort to know her residents and continuously train her staff to improve their skills and service. I very much like this approach because this places Valorie at Cozy Home Haven often and she knows, in detail, everything that is taking place in the house. If you call her about your loved one, she will be able to provide you with clear and concise information.

Cozy Home Haven welcomes extended family members and friends to get involved with events and activities. Many times I stop by to visit, share a meal, or celebrate a holiday with my Grandmother. This is truly welcomed and I like the luxury of stopping by at anytime to visit. We often call Cozy Home Haven “Grandmother’s house” and that is just fine with everyone.

Cozy Home Haven provides your loved one with a warm “Home” environment while simultaneously supplying them with excellent assisted living care. My Grandmother has made Cozy Home Haven her home away from home for three years and is looking forward to many more. Without question, the care she receives has improved her mental and physical being and provided her with a quality of life that is immeasurable.

I can’t say enough positive things about this wonderful assisted living facility and the magnificent things Valorie and her staff does to care for my Grandmother. It is with great pleasure and without reservation that I recommend Cozy Home Haven to you for your assistant living needs.

"It is great comfort to our family to know Geneva is as happy, secure, and comfortable as possible"

To Whom it May Concern:

My sister, Geneva D. Young, has been a resident at Valorie Adams' Private Adult Home for a number of years now, after living in a rest home.  I have been very happy with the care and attention she has received.  Her personal wants and needs have been met with warmth and love.

The facility has all the conveniences of home.  When she needs medical help, the staff tends to the matter quickly and efficiently, always keeping the family informed.

Mrs. Adams obviously loves her calling to care for those who cannot care for themselves.  She maintains a clean, bright and cheerful home for her residents.

It is great comfort to our family to know Geneva is as happy, secure, and comfortable as possible in the care of a dedicated and loving staff.
